To vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship, deepen reforms in building the industrial workforce, and empower workers’ all-round development, the Beibei District Federation of Trade Unions recently brought its 2025 “Model Worker and Craftsman Grand Ideological and Political Lecture Series” and “One Enterprise, One Lesson” initiative to Shenchi Electromechanical.

　　To vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship, deepen reforms in building the industrial workforce, and empower the all-round development of employees, the Beibei District Federation of Trade Unions recently brought its 2025 “Model Worker and Craftsman Grand Ideological and Political Lecture Series” and “One Enterprise, One Lesson” initiative to Shenchi Electromechanical. Zhang Wei, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Beibei District Federation of Trade Unions; Li Youxin, convener of the Expert Committee of the Beibei District Model Worker Innovation Studio Alliance; Jin Quan, a Chongqing City Model Worker; and Huang Zonghua, a recipient of the Chongqing May Day Labor Medal, attended the event on site. Employees of Shenchi Electromechanical—including National Model Worker Liu Tingjun and National May Day Labor Medal recipient Liu Jihai—along with more than 50 employee representatives, took part in the session.

　　Zhang Wei, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Beibei District Federation of Trade Unions, highly commended Shenchi Electromechanical for its efforts in strengthening the industrial workforce and promoting the spirit of model workers. He encouraged all employees to take model workers and skilled craftsmen as role models, to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their respective fields, and to strive for excellence, thereby making concerted contributions to the company’s development and to the economic and social progress of Beibei District.

　　Chongqing City Model Worker Jin Quan demonstrated hand‑ground coffee and milk tea‑making techniques, walking participants through each step—from bean selection and grinding to extraction and milk tea blending—while providing hands‑on guidance. He also infused the session with a vivid illustration of the artisan spirit: “perseverance and focus, relentless pursuit of excellence, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to surpassing the ordinary.” The event was lively and well‑attended, with workers enthusiastically engaging in interactive discussions with the model worker.

　　This event fully leveraged the exemplary and leading role of model workers and skilled artisans, closely integrating skills training with real-life applications, thereby enriching employees’ skill sets and effectively enhancing their quality of life and sense of well-being. Shenchi Electromechanical will continue to enrich employees’ extracurricular cultural life, proactively establish more platforms for learning and exchange, and rally collective strength to drive the company’s high-quality development.
